One cliche I really dislike is how songs always talk about experiencing some heartbreaking romantic episode while standing in the pouring rain.  When does that ever happen?  One day I’ll write a yearning love song about how my heart was broken on a gorgeous, perfectly sunny day, because that’s how it really happens.
